Guide
How PredixHub works
PredixHub is a free football prediction game for Discord. The bot posts real fixtures in your channel, you call the result, and it scores everyone automatically. No money is involved, anywhere. This page covers everything: predicting, both scoring systems, the ranked ladder, the extra game modes, every command, and what an admin needs to set up.
Getting started
There is nothing to install and nothing to configure as a player. If the bot is already in a server you are in, you can predict the next match in about ten seconds.
Find the matches
The bot posts each fixture in your server’s predictions channel. Every post has the two teams, the kickoff time and the buttons to answer with.
Make the call
Tap home, draw or away, or enter an exact score. You can change your mind until the match kicks off.
Collect the points
When the match finishes, points are added automatically and the table updates. Nobody has to close a round by hand.
Playing on the web
Everything also works in the browser. Log in with Discord, pick your server, and you get the same fixtures plus the full tables, stats and your prediction history. Discord and web are the same account — a pick made in one shows up in the other.
No server yet?
If you run a Discord community, use Add to Discord at the top of the page and follow For admins. If you just want to play, join our community server — matchdays run there every week.
Making a prediction
One prediction per match. It is yours, it is private until kickoff, and it counts everywhere at once — you never enter the same match twice.
The rules that matter
- Picks lock at kickoff, match by match. Until then you can change yours as often as you like.
- Nobody sees your pick before kickoff. Once a match starts, everyone’s picks become visible on the Picks page — that is what makes the crowd numbers honest.
- A blank is not a prediction. To call a 0–0 you have to enter 0 and 0.
- A postponed, cancelled or abandoned match is not scored for anyone. It simply drops out.
- On the web you can fill in a whole matchday and save it in one go.
Points & scoring
Your single prediction is counted by two separate competitions, each with its own scoring. This is by design: one rewards being consistently right, the other rewards seeing what the crowd missed. Points from one are never comparable with points from the other.
Server championship
Your server’s own league. Classic, predictable scoring.
Only members of your server appear on this table.
Ranked ladder
One worldwide competition. Scored on the crowd: the fewer people who called a result correctly, the more that call pays.
Read the upset nobody saw and you climb faster than someone who backed every favourite.
Worked example. A match ends 2–1 and nine players in ten had backed the home win. That was the easy call, so on the ranked ladder it pays near the floor: about 11 points, and about 25 for anyone who also had the exact 2–1. Now flip it: if only one player in ten had seen that home win, the same correct call is worth about 17, and the exact around 35. On your server’s table, meanwhile, those picks are 1 and 3 whatever the crowd did.
When points arrive
Scores are checked continuously and points are added as each match finishes — there is no end-of-round button to wait for. The Discord recap post that names the matchday MVP is an announcement of results that are already on the table, not the moment they are calculated.
Your server league
The green side of the app. A private championship for one Discord server, with its own table, its own season and its own history.
Seasons
An admin can run the server league as a named season. A season has a start, an end and a champion; when it closes, the standings are frozen and a champion card is published. Points are always counted inside one season, so a new season is a clean slate for everyone.
The ranked ladder
The violet side of the app. One global season, the same fixtures for everyone, every server on the same table. It is not a copy of your server league — it is a separate competition your same picks feed.
How a round works
- A round is a matchday: a set of fixtures chosen for the whole world at once.
- It is broadcast to every server registered for ranked, in that server’s ranked channel. You predict from Discord or from the Ranked page on the web.
- Each match locks at its own kickoff. When the round is complete, the bot posts the global standings — and the same table filtered to your server’s members, so a small community can still see its own race.
Rank and tiers
Your position on the ladder is converted into a career tier by percentile, from the whole ranked population:
Two things stop a lucky week from buying a tier. You are placing until you have played enough rounds to be rated at all, and the top tiers additionally require you to have played a minimum share of the season’s rounds. Your tier and your OVR (a 40–99 rating) appear on your Football ID card.
Where to look
Other game modes
These run alongside the two tables above. Some are available to every server, some are part of Pro — see Free & Pro.
/grudge on Discord, or the Feuds page on the web.Your account
Your profile follows you, not the server. Play in three communities and it is still one identity, one collection and one ranked record.
Make your Football ID
Your player card: the parts you choose, and the parts you have to earn. It takes about a minute.
Open Football ID
On the web, Football ID is in the sidebar under “You”. Open the Identity tab — that is the form; Overview is the finished card and Badges is what you have won.
Fill in what you like
Ten fields, all optional, though the card comes alive once the club is set (it supplies the crest and the colours). Start typing in Club and pick from the list so the real crest is attached.
Press Save Football ID
The card renders itself immediately. You never pick a template: the finish comes from your Football DNA, the field behind you is sampled from your club crest.
Show it off
Type
/cardin Discord to post it in the chat. The Identity tab also gives you a public link that anyone can open — no login, no Discord account needed.
Football DNA
A short quiz that reads your tactical identity and tells you which manager you play like. Take it here — no login needed — and share the result with /dna.
Card Packs
Ranked activity earns credits: +1 for every settled prediction, +3 when you get the result right and +6 more for an exact score. The daily check-in and missions pay credits too. A pack costs 10 credits and contains 3 cards; you start with 3 free packs.
Missions, badges & trophies
Missions are a checklist that walks you through the product and pays out as you go. Badges mark milestones. Trophies are the things you actually won — a season championship, a matchday MVP — and they sit in your collection permanently.
Notifications
Direct messages are opt-out and split by subject, so you can keep the ones you want and drop the rest. Manage them with /notifications on Discord or on the Notifications page on the web.
/followteam.We do not send a DM to tell you something you already know. Every message has to be worth the interruption or it is not built.
For admins
Setting up takes a couple of minutes and you only do it once. Members need no setup at all.
Add the bot
Use Add to Discord and pick your server. It asks for what it needs to run a matchday in your channels — read and send messages, embed links, attach files, add reactions — plus Manage Roles, used only if you switch on the automatic leader and champion roles.
Post your first matchday
Run
/setupin your server and follow the button it gives you. It opens Create Poll on the web dashboard, which is where every matchday is built — there is no command that posts matches for you. The next step walks through it.Let it run
Fixtures and results are synced automatically and points are calculated as matches finish. Use
/announce_matchdaywhen you want to post the recap and name the MVP.Join the ranked ladder (optional)
Run
/ranked setupand choose two channels: one for the ranked matches, one for the global leaderboard. You can also set a mentionable role to ping when a new round drops. Rounds are then delivered to your server automatically.
Posting a matchday, control by control
Everything below is on one page: Create Poll in the sidebar (admins only). The left half lists fixtures, the right half is your draft, and nothing is posted until you press Publish.
Pick the competition
The Competition dropdown at the top loads that competition’s upcoming fixtures into the left-hand list. On a free server you run one competition at a time; adding more matchdays to a competition you are already running is always free.
Add the matches
Each fixture has an Add button, and the button above the list takes the whole lot at once (it shows the number, e.g. Add 8). Anything already posted is greyed out and marked Posted, so the same match can never go up twice. Up to 20 matches per batch.
Choose how each one is answered
Every match in the draft has a switch: Exact score (predict the scoreline) or 1·X·2 (winner only). Set the Default answer type in the toolbar first and every match you add inherits it. Knockout ties are set to exact score automatically.
Say where it goes
Discord channel is the channel the posts land in. Matchday is the round number — leave it on auto and it continues from your last one. If you have set a predictor role, Ping the predictor role notifies it, and you can untick it for a quiet batch.
Publish
Publish to Discord & web posts every match in the draft. They appear in the channel within a few seconds, and on the web Matches page at the same time — one prediction, both places.
/update forces a refresh.What else you control
- The announcement channel, the builder’s default channel, and whether a role gets pinged when new matches are posted.
- Seasons — start one, end one, and publish the champion card.
- Custom leagues for competitions the football data provider does not cover: your own teams, your own fixtures, scored like any other.
- Members — every destructive action asks for confirmation first, and you can remove a member’s data on request.
Everything an admin can do lives on the web dashboard; the slash commands are shortcuts into it.
